Anxiety

Anxiety, a burden we bear,
A constant companion, always there.
It grips our hearts, it clouds our mind,
Leaves us feeling lost, left behind.

It whispers fears, that we’re not enough,
That all our dreams, will never come to pass.
It steals our peace, it steals our sleep,
And leaves us with a soul that can’t keep.

But still we rise, and face the fear,
With courage that we hope is near.
We take a step, and then another one,
And slowly, slowly, we’ve begun.

To see the beauty in the chaos,
To find the calm, in the storm.
And though it’s hard, and it’s not fair,
We choose to be present, and to care.

For we are warriors, of the mind,
Fighting battles, that others can’t find.
And in our hearts, we know we’re strong,
And that we’ll keep marching, all day long.

So when you feel the weight of anxiety,
Remember the love, and the peace that’s inside.
Remember the hope, and the courage you’ve tried,
And know that healing is always by your side.
